I love the Libby app. Libby is an app for procuring ebooks from your library from the convenience of your phone. By entering your library card account, you can access the library’s ebook inventory and download them to your device or your Kindle.
The best part of the app is when I hear of a book, I search for the book on Libby rather than Amazon. If it’s available to check out, I do and send it to my Kindle. If it is not available, I add it to my Holds list. As soon as the book becomes available, it automatically gets checked out to me and appears on my Libby Shelf.
No late fees!! After 21 days, the books are automatically returned.
The app provides access to audio books as well. Sometimes I check out both the ebook and the audio book. I actually listen to the book and read it on my Kindle simultaneously. It’s fantastic! It floods my mind with so much stimulus that I stay focused on the story.
I have loaded up two library cards which allows access to multiple inventories.
If you have multiple Kindle devices, you may download your book to whichever device you choose which is terrific for a family.
Try it. I promise, you’ll be glad you did.
